Be loyal to your future, not your past.
I work with elite ahtletes and professional teams, including the NY Mets and natonal champions in baseball and hockey. My diverse profile reflects a strong interdisciplinary understanding across performance psychology and behavior analytics. I earned my Masters in Sport Psychology and have a Positive Psychology specialization. My education also includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Management concentration from the University of Pennsylvania, where I competed for the Women’s Varsity Track and Field team.
Combining sports science and psychology sets the foundation for my holistic approach to building a relationship with teams and athletes, emphasizing the whole person. Building self-awareness yields information to create knowledge and transform performance. Synthesizing people analytics, neuropsychology, personality and sport psychology with machine learning, I developed a Capability Quotient (CQ) metric. CQ is the overlap of behavioral potential, historical ways of being, along with public information to better understand probability of success within an organization, and preventively identifying necessary resources for player development. The automated process reveals a comprehensive understanding of player performance and personality, which can then be mapped to organizational culture. CQ increases likelihood of fit, creating chemistry, culture, and competitive advantage.
Prior to earning my Masters in Sport Psychology, I worked at Deutsche Bank, New York, and within my role as an HR Analytics global project manager, I designed and collaborated on worldwide quantitative and qualitative employee data analytics. I continued running competitively, completing the Marine Corps Marathon (1999) and Boston Marathon (2001), as well as many road races.
Originally from Highland Park, Illinois, I grew up participating and competing in numerous sports, earning Varsity letter and Scholar-Athlete recognition for Volleyball, Basketball, Cross Country, and Track and Field. Named “Female Athlete of the Year,” and my cross-country jersey retired, I graduated with records in multiple sports. As a mother of two athletes, my philosophy is underscored by an individualized and collaborative style, emphasizing a growth mindset, harnessing passion and joy in the process as critical pillars of success.
I develop individual awareness, confidence, adaptive thinking, stress-energy management, leadership, focus and concentration. My approach is engaging, empathic, encouraging, and authentic. I help athletes and organizations gain the extra edge.
